Synopsis

In January 2021, my childhood friend Toyin and I saw each other for the first time in 10 years and decided to create this short series in my backyard.

"Black Valentine" seeks to communicate the distance and depth that is on the other side of love and affection. It is a twist on the classic spirit of Valentine's Day, which is bright, light, and soft.
